This week, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection formally accepted reservations for its second yacht.

In 2024, the luxury brand will debut the new yacht, Ilma. In October, the line’s first ship set sail.

In a press statement, Douglas Prothero, CEO of the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, said, “We are happy to offer reservations for Ilma to the public and introduce our debut season of itineraries. “Our 2024 Mediterranean season underlines the essence of the yachting lifestyle, offering visitors more opportunity to thoroughly immerse themselves in the varied cultures, local cuisines, and natural beauty of the region,” says the company. “With a moderate sailing tempo and extra overnights in port.”

When will the newest yacht in the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection begin its voyage?

According to the line’s website, Ilma will make its first journey from Athens, Greece, to Haifa, Israel, on September 19, 2024. The journey will stop in Mykonos, Greece; Alanya, Turkey; and other places.

How far will Ilma travel?

The ship will travel around the Mediterranean during its first season, stopping at places including Rome, Italy; Monte Carlo, Monaco; Tangier, Morocco; the Greek Islands; and more. The statement states that the boat will travel on voyages that last seven to thirteen nights.

More than 450 people can stay at Ilma, which has 228 suites and all have own terraces. Together with other features, the yacht will have a spa, five dining establishments, and six bars.

What is the cost of the sailings?

According to the line’s website, prices vary according on the sailing, but the Ilma’s inaugural trip starts at $7,400 per person based on double occupancy. Taxes, taxes and port expenditures are another $296 per visitor.

The price includes gratuities, Wi-Fi, and a variety of food options.
