Bill Cosby Teases a Comedy Comeback Tour in 2023

Bill Cosby believes 2023 is the year he can make a comeback after years of facing dozens of sexual assault allegations and being shunned by the entertainment industry and former fans.

After nearly three years in prison on sexual assault charges, the once-revered actor and comedian was released in 2021.

During a radio interview on “WWGH Talk,” Cosby said he’s looking forward to getting “out of this mess,” referring to his legal problems stemming from sexual assault allegations.

“I feel that when I come out of this, I will be able to perform and be the Bill Cosby that my audience knows me to be,” Cosby told Spears.

Spears asked Cosby if he would return to comedy in 2023.

“Yes. Yes, because I have so much fun telling stories,” Cosby said.

Andrew Wyatt, Cosby’s representative, told Variety that the comedian is “looking at spring/summer to start touring.”

Cosby was sentenced to nearly three years in prison on a 2018 sexual assault conviction before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned it, ruling that he gave incriminating testimony about the encounter in a deposition only after believing he was immune from prosecution.
