Coachella, Bonnaroo, Louder Than Life, Outside Lands, and other music festivals’ lineups for 2023

Recent additions to the spring and summer music festival lineup include the Louder Than Life festival, which takes place in Louisville, Kentucky, from September 21 to 24, and features the Foo Fighters and Green Day, as well as Pharrell Williams’ Something in the Water festival, which will take place in Virginia Beach, Virginia, from April 28 to 30, and feature the Wu-Tang Clan, Mumford & Sons, and Maren Morris.

In response to recently passed laws that opponents claim unfairly target the LGBTQ community, Love Rising: Let Freedom Sing (and Dance): A Celebration of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness, a Nashville benefit, was recently announced. Allison Russell, Brothers Osborne, Jason Isbell, Maren Morris, Hayley Williams, and Yola are among the performers.

Coachella, hosted over two weekends in mid-April in Indio, California, with headliners Bad Bunny, BLACKPINK, and Frank Ocean, will officially kick off festival season the following month.

Another notable event will feature rapper Kendrick Lamar, electronic duo Odesza, and rock band Foo Fighters at Bonnaroo in June in Manchester, Tennessee.

The Foo Fighters will also perform on May 26 at the Boston Calling Music Festival, which takes place during Memorial Day weekend and marks the band’s full comeback since the passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins in March 2022. The Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival in Columbus, Ohio, will thereafter include Foo Fighters as its headlining act on May 28. The band will also perform at the Outside Lands festival in San Francisco from August 11 to 13 and the Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival in Milwaukee on July 15. The Foos will perform at the Sea Hear Now Festival in Asbury Park, New Jersey, on September 16–17 and the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky, on September 21.
