On Christmas Eve, an NYPD officer was stabbed and injured in the Bronx, and Mayor Adams paid him a visit in the hospital.

According to cops, an NYPD officer was stabbed and injured while responding to a 911 call in the Bronx on Christmas Eve.

Officer Lin Zhen was responding to a call for an emotionally disturbed person on DeKalb Ave. near E. 212th St. on Saturday around 5:45 p.m. when he was stabbed in the right arm.

Zhen, 34, was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital with a minor wound.

Mayor Adams tweeted a photo of himself walking into St. Barnabas Hospital at 10 p.m. on Saturday.

“Visited Officer Lin Zhen,” wrote the mayor. “He suffered a knife wound to the arm while he and his partner were responding to a person with mental health issues. Thank God, they’re all right.”
