Paris Hilton’s re-release of ‘Stars Are Blind (Paris’ Version)’ delights fans: ‘Queen, welcome back.’

Paris Hilton has rediscovered her inner pop princess.

The socialite-turned-businesswoman announced the re-release of her 2006 song “Stars Are Blind” on her social media pages on Friday.

“Surprise! I recently released an updated version of “Stars Are Blind (Paris’ Version).” “Hilton posted a message on Instagram. “Because this song has always meant so much to me, it felt right to end 2022 with a new version.”

She also stated that “more new music will be released in the new year.”

Hilton had previously hinted at new music with a trio of TikTok videos leading up to the song’s Friday release.

“Me (on my way) to the recording studio after User409279 said we need to bring back Y2K pop,” Hilton said in an animated video posted Tuesday.

The breezy, reggae-infused midtempo track, co-written and produced by Fernando Garibay and featured on her debut album “Paris,” peaked at No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 and went on to sell half a million digital copies.

Hilton recently performed the song at LA Pride in the Park in June, alongside fellow 2000s pop princess Christina Aguilera, who headlined the all-day concert.

Hilton’s fans were clearly anticipating her re-release of the aughts pop hit Friday.

“Welcome back Queen,” Ashley Hilton tweeted. “This was definitely needed!”

“It’s so good,” user alexa vogue tweeted. “I’m just as excited as I was when I first heard it in 2006.”

Despite having only released one album to date, Hilton has never abandoned music entirely. Hilton’s DJing career has helped her become a fixture in the world of EDM music in recent years, including a residency at The Pool After Dark in Atlantic City, New Jersey, in 2014.

Hilton also provided vocals for the EDM singles “I Blame You” by Lodato in 2020 and “Melting” by Electric Polar Bears in 2021.
