This autumn, the Oogie Boogie Bash at Disneyland will be open more nights than ever.
While guests don’t require a special ticket to celebrate Halloween at the Disneyland Resort, the fan-favorite after-hours Halloween event will take place at Disney California Adventure on 25 specific nights.
Halloween Time is popular at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, and throughout the months of September and October, a variety of cherished seasonal attractions are included with normal park admission each day. Both amusement parks pay tribute to the Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos, but Disney California Adventure stands out.
Fans should be aware of the following before visiting Disneyland this autumn.
When does Oogie Boogie Bash 2023 take place?
A Disney Halloween party called Oogie Boogie Bash will take place:
Depending on the date, tickets cost between $134 and $189 and come with unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital downloads. The general public can purchase Oogie Boogie Bash tickets starting on June 29. Starting on June 27, a small number of presale tickets will be made available to Magic Key owners. On both occasions, sales start no sooner than 9 a.m. PT.
Despite the fact that entry to Disney California Adventure is permitted beginning at 3 p.m., the limited capacity event, which is not included with ordinary admission, runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Visitors are encouraged to dress up, trick-or-treat throughout the park, and take advantage of special events like the Frightfully Fun Parade, “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” presentation, and the makeover of the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail into Villains Grove. During the event, some attractions have shorter wait times than usual.
What days at Disneyland are Halloween?
From September 1 to October 31 at the Disneyland Resort, there is Halloween Time.
The Haunted Mansion Holiday, which has a “Nightmare Before Christmas” theme, and the weekly Halloween Screams evening spectacular are all part of Disneyland Park’s Halloween celebrations.
At Disney California Adventure, Buena Vista Street is decorated, Cars Land becomes Radiator Screams, and Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission BREAKOUT! changes to Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark when the day gives way to night.
Both theme parks offer visitors to encounter Disney characters dressed in Halloween-themed attire and sample seasonal fare and beverages. There will also be seasonal refreshments, entertainment, and decorations in the Downtown Disney District.
The Plaza de la Familia is what?
The Plaza de la Familia in Disney California Adventure honours Dia de los Muertos and the “everlasting bonds of family.” It lasts from September 1 until November 2.
On November 1 and 2, Mexico celebrates Dia de los Muertos.
Visitors can enjoy A Musical Celebration of Coco, which includes live mariachi music and traditional dancing, at the park’s Paradise Gardens section. Additionally, they can enjoy Mexican-inspired food, create crafts, and get their picture taken with “Coco’s” Miguel.
Along with vibrant decorations, Disneyland Park will also celebrate Dia de los Muertos with enormous skeleton figurines in Frontierland.
