Through May, Princess Cruises is providing lower deposits and up to 40% off trips.

It might be a good idea to plan a cruise right away if you’ve been debating it. By early May, Princess Cruises is offering up to 40% off a few voyages and reduced deposits of $100, the cruise firm announced Thursday.

The offer is valid for travel to many other places, including the Caribbean, Alaska, Japan, Mexico, and more.

These trips include a five-day cruise leaving roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale on October 31 with stops in Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos, and Princess Cays, the cruise line’s exclusive location in the Bahamas, as well as a 13-day cruise departing roundtrip from Tokyo on November 18 with stops in Hiroshima and Busan, South Korea. On the line’s website, travellers can access a complete list of included voyages.

What conditions apply to the Princess Cruises deal?

Through May 2 for certain cruises, the offer is good for new reservations made by North American citizens. According to the cruise line’s website, the fare discount is calculated using ordinary fares “on a space-available basis” at the time of booking.

Only full, regular deposits qualify for the offer’s $100 deposit. Deposits that have already been discounted or decreased cannot be further lowered by the offer, and sailings for which full payment is already due are not included.
